Welcome to my blog. For those blessed enough not to have fallen into the cesspool of the “lucrative” advertising industry, Neil French is a revered writer, creative director, consultant, godfather - with whom I had the privilege of meeting some years back.
Like many aspiring creative people, I held dear to his teachings or “tips” (I still do). Which is why I never got round to writing my blog until now – 2 years after the first intentions hit.
Why? Because I forget. Blogs are not ads (thank God). That means I don’t have to think for three days before penning down how I felt three days ago.
And so, after a long, tedious wait for absolutely no freaking reason, I am now a self-certified blogger. Forget wit. Forget rhythm. Forget annoying alliterations. Forget clever and concise and “every line must lead to the next”.
